Payment Methods:

You can use the following payment and credit cards on daarbakdesign.dk: VISA-Dankort, VISA Debit, VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, Maestro, and MobilePay (no card fees apply).

Payment by invoice is subject to positive credit approval. Invoices will be sent after the order has been dispatched to the email address provided at the time of order. The payment terms are net 8 days unless otherwise agreed.

For orders paid by debit or credit card, the amount will only be charged once the order has been dispatched.

Invoice payments must be made no later than the due date indicated on the invoice. Late payments will accrue interest at 2% per month until the outstanding amount is paid in full. Reminder notices will incur a fee of DKK 100. Payments made by the Buyer will first be applied to accrued interest and costs, and thereafter to the principal amount.

The Buyer is not entitled to offset any counterclaims against Daarbak Design A/S unless approved in writing, nor to withhold any part of the purchase price due to counterclaims of any kind.

Prices:

Daarbak Design A/S primarily sells to businesses and public institutions. All prices on daarbakdesign.dk and in other sales materials are therefore stated excluding VAT.

Prices listed on daarbakdesign.dk apply only to purchases made on that website and do not apply in our physical stores.

Advertised and quoted prices are daily prices, and Daarbak Design A/S reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All stated prices are exclusive of shipping charges and environmental fees.

Shipping and Environmental Fees:

Daarbak Design A/S offers free delivery within Denmark (excluding the Faroe Islands and Greenland, where delivery is made only to the port of shipment) for orders over DKK 999.00 including VAT.

For orders below DKK 999.00 including VAT, a shipping fee of DKK 99.00 including VAT will apply.

Orders delivered to non-bridged islands will incur an additional fee.

For used furniture, a shipping fee of DKK 500.00 including VAT will apply, regardless of the order size.

Delivery:

Stocked items ordered by 2:00 p.m. on weekdays will be delivered within 2–5 business days to all accessible areas in Denmark.

Deliveries are handled by GLS, Autobude, or Daarbak Design’s own technicians.

Daarbak Design reserves the right to deliver orders in multiple shipments, depending on stock availability.

Right of Withdrawal:

If the Buyer wishes to cancel a purchase, they must notify Daarbak Design A/S within 14 days of the purchase date. Following such notification, the Buyer has a further 14 days to return the item.

Returned items must be undamaged and in their original packaging. The sender is responsible for any damage caused by inadequate packaging during return shipping.

Return shipping costs are borne by the sender.

All returns must be marked with a return number; therefore, the Buyer must contact Daarbak Design A/S before sending any items back. Returns sent cash on delivery (COD) will not be accepted.

The Buyer is liable for any deterioration in the value of the item resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functionality. Items may be tested as they would be in a physical store.

If the item has been used beyond what is described above, it will be considered used. In such cases, the Buyer will receive only a partial refund or no refund at all, depending on the item’s market value.

To receive a full refund, the Buyer must treat the item as they would in a physical store: test but not use it. Technology products must be returned in unopened packaging, and software seals must remain intact.

Custom-made products cannot be returned.

If the Buyer exercises the right of withdrawal, the purchase amount will be refunded, less any reduction in value for which the Buyer is liable. Daarbak Design A/S may withhold the refund until the returned item is received or until the Buyer provides proof of return.

Right to Complain:

All goods are covered by a two-year warranty under Danish law.

In the event of defects or faults, Daarbak Design A/S may, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the product.

Defects caused by improper storage or use are not covered by the warranty. Normal wear and tear is expected and likewise not covered.

Daarbak Design A/S will replace spare parts within the manufacturer’s warranty period. Installation of spare parts, if requested, will be invoiced according to the applicable hourly rates.

Claims regarding missing items or product damage must be submitted within 24 hours of receipt; otherwise, Daarbak Design A/S cannot be held liable.

To submit a claim, the Buyer must send an email to [email protected] including: (i) a description of the issue, (ii) a copy of the invoice, and (iii) photos of the defect and the product label.

Important Information:

We reserve the right to correct typographical, printing, and image errors, as well as to make price changes, discontinue items, and address third-party delivery failures, including force majeure events.

Due to fluctuations in production costs and general market price adjustments by our suppliers, we reserve the right to make minor price adjustments to our assortment.

Product Liability:
Daarbak Design A/S can only be held liable for damage caused by a product if it can be documented that Daarbak Design A/S is directly responsible for such damage.

Daarbak Design A/S shall not be liable for operating losses, loss of profit, or any other indirect losses.

Complaint Handling:
If you wish to file a complaint regarding your purchase, you must first contact our customer service.
